6 August, 2015 – The Dark Side of Jazz is an innovative electrical and electronic project led by Enzo Favata (soprano, sopranino, sax tenor, and live electronics) with the great trumpeter Enrico Rava as special guest. With Favata’s historic collaborators – Marcello Peghin on guitars, Danilo Gallo’s electric bass, UT Gandhi on drums – they formed an explosive ensemble with a truly original rhythm. And the ensemble will perform in Oslo, at the Nasjonal Jazzscene Victoria, on 14 August, for the Oslo Jazz Festival. The concert, scheduled to begin at 10pm, is organized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Oslo. (Red)
