27 August, 2015 – With their suitcases packed, the group of students from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia is ready for India. It will be an adventure not only linked to academic training: starting on Monday, August 31 and ending on Saturday, 19 September. In particular, seventeen students of degree courses in different departments are about to experience something very unique and that could mark a turning point in their studies, but also in their professional lives. Thanks to an initiative of the University of Modena-Reggio Emilia, in collaboration with Octagona Srl (a consulting company for internationalization, with offices in different parts of the world and that in New Delhi will provide relational and operational support for the performance of the project), this group of students will participate in an intensive workshop. The India Immersion Program, the name chosen for the summer school, will lead the group of students in the Asian country for three weeks, where at Amity University in New Delhi (one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the country), they will be able to attend lectures, seminars, company visits to both Indian companies and branches of Italian companies in India (such as CNH, CMB), as well as gather valuable evidence from representatives of Italian institutions in India: the Embassy, the ITA, and cultural institutions operating in the country.
