August 28, 2015 – Sace flies to Mozambique and Congo. The insurance and financial group will participate in the mission of the Italian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Carlo Calenda to increase the penetration of Italian companies in these high potential markets. The mission, the fourth in sub-Saharan Africa over the past two months, confirms the attractiveness of this region for Italian companies, which is reflected in the growing Sace operations (+ 63% of the volumes to support exports and internationalization in the first half of 2015). To seize this potential, Sace initiated the program Frontier Markets, dedicated especially to Italian SMEs. In addition to offering the assistance of Sace experts in Johannesburg and Nairobi, the program provides businesses with: secured lines of credit in support of operations with local counterparts; advisory services to evaluate product sectors of the greatest potential, the risk profiles of credit, politicians, and the regulatory environment, and financial-insurance solutions to guarantee support of individual commercial and investment transactions; seminars and business matching in the region. In Mozambique, Sace will take part also in Facim, the multisectoral Fair of Maputo.
