Copenhagen – This year, there are two students selected across Italy, including a student from Pisa, Bianca Patria, who was awarded a scholarship of €500 by the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) for Italian Erasmus students in the academic year 2015-2016. Patria, 22-year-old from Turin, lives in Colle Buggiano in the province of Pistoia, and is enrolled in the master’s degree in Linguistics and Translation. In the coming months, as an Erasmus student with the ESN scholarship, she will travel to Copenhagen, to deepen her knowledge of Scandinavian countries and languages, the focus of her research interests. The national competition “Il tuo Erasmus con ESN”, now in its third edition, provides that candidates compose an essay on student mobility. This year’s edition asked students what the European Union represents today in the light of recent political events, including the Greek and migration crises. ESN Italia, which promotes the competition every year, is a network of volunteer university associations that aim to promote the mobility of university students across Europe. (9colonne)
