(October 7, 2015) Discover, explore, grow. Make new friends, learn about the world of cinema, live a unique experience. And dream. All this is the Giffoni Film Festival, entirely dedicated to children that takes place every year in July, in the town of Giffoni Valle Piana, in the province of Salerno. But the Festival has also crossed the Italian borders. In Skopje – the capital and the most populous city in Macedonia – in fact, the third edition of the event starts today. The festival – that will close on October 11 – was made at a press conference at the Youth Cultural Center -MKC. This year, the Festival has the dream, in all its nuances, as the main theme. The international jury will be composed by 600 young people, aged 10-18, coming from 10 different Countries. “A Napoli non piove mai”, by Sergio Assisi, will open the Festival. Giffoni Macedonia is a co-production Djifoni M, Macedonian Film Agency and Giffoni Experience, and is supported by the Macedonian Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education, the Italian Embassy in Macedonia, the Cinematheque of Macedonia, the Youth Cultural Centre, the Macedonian National Theatre, the City of Skopje and the Municipality of Karpos.
