Sarajevo – The Italian Cooperation, together with UNDP, has made an in-kind donation of 12,000 laying hens for an annual production of 3.6 million eggs to 8 companies in Domaljevac and Orasje (northern Bosnia). The region, and thus the companies, were gravely damaged by the floods; and the Italian support was announced by Italy’s Ambassador in Sarajevo Ruggero Corrias, who said that the donation is “a real help to small farmers and contributes to the economic recovery of the region.” (9Colonne)
