Riyadh – Sace assured €560,000 in the supply to Saudi Arabia of a plant for the production of ice cream made by the Italian company Technogel, based in Grassobbio (Bergamo), a world leader in the sector of ice cream machinery. Active since 1955 in more than 60 countries, the company exports innovative solutions worldwide, tailored to the needs of both small artisan producers and industrial producers of medium and large sizes. With this operation, Technogel enters the Saudi market – one of the countries with the greatest potential worldwide for Italian exports, in which SACE expects a 4.3% annual growth over the next four years for the mechanical engineering sector. In six years of partnership between Technogel and SACE, the Grassobbio company has safely exported its machinery in Peru, Uruguay, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, for a total value of contracts of about €3 million.
