November 3rd, 2015 – During the Annual General Meeting of the Berne Union (the international association that brings together the leading export credit insurers), which takes place in Shanghai from today until November 6, Sace signed two important cooperation agreements with Kazexportgarant and ABGF, credit export companies from Kazakhstan and Brazil. The agreements provide for the identification of possible areas of cooperation and the development of joint strategies to support the projects of Italian exporters and investors in Kazakhstan and Brazil. Sace and Kazexportgarant signed a memorandum of understanding today intended to strengthen cooperation between the parties through the identification of potential synergies and new business opportunities. The agreement includes a mutual commitment to facilitate and further expand trade and economic cooperation between Italy and Kazakhstan through the exchange of information and sharing of best practices. “The memorandum of understanding signed today confirms our interest to actively support economic and trade relations between the two countries and to assist in the identification of new cross-border opportunities for Italian companies” – said Michal Ron, Vice President of Berne Union and Managing Director of International Business SACE. The agreement also provides for the Kazakh company to make use of a technical assistance program provided by SACE in order to acquire know-how and improve the tools to support internationalization. Sace and ABGF – the Agência Brasileira De Gestora Fundos Garantidores e Garantías – have signed a memorandum of understanding intended to strengthen cooperation between the parties and to identify possible new trading opportunities and investment between Italy and Brazil. “This initiative lays the foundation of a collaboration that will allow us to bring about new opportunities in a market of primary interest for Italian exporters – continued Michal Ron – With €1.4 billion, Brazil is positioned at the forefront of our portfolio operations in Latin America. We know it is an important destination for our companies, and for this reason we have been present in the country since 2008 with an office in Sao Paulo, which also acts as a hub for other countries in South America.” (Red)
