Luanda – The chairman of Sonangol, Angola’s national oil company, Francisco de Lemos Maria, met today in Rome with Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi. The encounter served to strengthen the strategic and operational partnership between the two companies, confirming the commitment to: carry out exploitation activities on the domestic gas produced by Eni in Angola; facilitate access to energy; and support the local economy. In particular, the two companies will complete in the coming months the evaluation of gas fields development projects in the Angolan basin of the Lower Congo. (9Colonne)
