November 24th, 2015 – Open until Sunday, December 6, the exhibition featuring Larissa Bertonasco’s illustrations brings together her works for magazines, publishing houses and advertising. The display is currently held in the city of Karlsruhe, in Germany’s Baden-Wurttemberg (after Stuttgart it’s the second largest city of the Land). The exhibition was sponsored by the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels – Landesverband Baden-Württemberg eV, Regierungspräsidium Karlsruhe in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Stuttgart. The exhibition, part of the 33rd edition of Karlsruher Bücherschau, is entitled “Andiamo al mercato” (“Let’s go to the market” in English) as it brings together images from the artist’s books: “La cucina dolce” and “La cucina verde”. The audience will dive in the colorful atmosphere of an Italian market and in the Italian culinary art. The most famous book written and illustrated by Larissa Bertonasco is “La nonna La Cucina La Vita,” a tribute to Larissa’s Ligurian grandmother and her recipes, all captured in a book that features ingredients and recipes, as well as a portrait made of love.
