December 8th, 2015 – “Made in Italy. 1950-70 Graphic Design, creativity and experience” is an exhibition held at the Quintanar Palace of Segovia, to be inaugurated on December 11 at noon. The exhibition – organized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid and with AIAP Association of Italian Visual Communication Design – explores the richness of Italian art and design, as well as the companies and industries that believed in Italian design in the 1950s. The purpose of the exhibit is to provide an overview of the complex and vibrant panorama of the postwar Italian graphic design, by showcasing the works of famous artists such as Vignelli, Noorda, Iliprandi, Waibl, Coppola, Munari and Griggs, but also that of lesser-known but equally interesting designers. In short, the exhibition is a 360-degree view of the works and projects carried out in Italy in the postwar years. The exhibition will remain open until February 29. (Red)
