December 14th, 2015 – The duo of Italian gastronomy, the Sorelle Simili, will be guests of the Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid on Wednesday, December 16 (19.30pm), for an exclusive event organized, in collaboration with the publishing house Libros with Miga, a few months after the publication in Spanish of their most important books (“Pan y dulces italianos, un clásico de la tradición italiana” and “Pasta Fresca al auténtico estilo italiano. Los secretos de la pasta hecha en casa”). The event will see the participation of Anna Mayer, Italian gastronome and author of the prologue of the book “Pasta Fresca al auténtico estilo italiano”; Miriam García, author of the blog “El invitado de invierno”, photographer and coordinator of the images of the Spanish edition of the books; Lorenzo Mariani, anthropologist and translator of the books; and Lucas García, head of the publishing house Libros con Miga. The panel discussion will be followed by a tasting with homemade panettone. The Sorelle Simili have represented for the past fifteen years an extraordinary success story in the Italian publishing industry. Thanks to the outstanding culinary school they directed for many years in Bologna, their books, their frequent participation in Italian television and, of course, their TV personas have become a point of reference for all those wish to know how to make fresh pasta, bread and Italian pastries.
