Tirana – A chamber music concert announces the holiday season in Albania. Set for December 23 (at 7pm) at the Orthodox Cathedral in Tirana, Ipogea Hall, the concert is the first of a series sponsored by the Institute of Italian Culture in the Albanian capital, organized by the State Opera and Albanian National Ballet. The evening will feature soprano Eleonora Buratto and baritone Mario Cassi, while the orchestra will be conducted by Angelo Gabrielli. Interpreters also include Vikena Kamenica (mezzo-soprano) and Erik Tauzi (oboe). The music is by Benedetto Marcello, Georg Friedrich Handel and WA Mozart. (9Colonne)
