28 December, 2015 – For the “Botticelli e il suo tempo” exhibition on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art of Tokyo from 16 January al 3 April, the Italian Cultural Institute of the city is organizing a symposium with the greatest experts of Italian art in Japan. The conference is scheduled for January 16 at 2:30pm in the Auditorium Umberto Agnelli of the Institute. The event will feature speeches Osano Shigetoshi (University of Tokyo), Alessandro Cecchi (Art historian and former director of the Galleria Palatina), Cristina Acidini (Art historian and former director of tr Polo museale fiorentino), Jonathan Nelson (Harvard University and vice director of Villa I Tatti di Firenze).
