(11 January, 2016) Venini represents the authenticity and perfect balance between a great tradition of Murano glass, a pursuit of excellence and contemporary design. Today like 90 years ago, artists and designers make the Venetian company a workshop in constant evolution. And now, Venice’s passion for glass enchants Germany: The Italian Cultural Institute of Cologne, for Passagen 2016, organizes 18-24 January a special exhibition dedicated to Venini, entitled “Venini – eternal colors”. The selection presented in Cologne was curated by Heiko Kalitowitsch, and combines the newest creations with classic pieces, united by the exaltation of light and color, with its transparency and opacity, making it unmistakably unique.
