Berlin – The Italian Cultural Institute of Berlin hosts on Tuesday, January 19 (at 7pm) the presentation of the book “Adua” by Igiaba Scego. Born in Rome in 1974 from Somali parents (her father, Foreign Affairs Minister, chose an exile in Italy after the military coup by Siad Barre), Igiaba Scego is today a journalist and writer who defines herself a “black Roman of Somali origin and Italian by vocation. An Afro-Italian of composite identity and a second-generation author”. The meeting at the Institute (in Italian with translation into German) will have Elisabetta Gaddoni moderate. (9Colonne)
