Lisbon – Tomorrow at 7pm the Italian Cultural Institute in Lisbon hosts the conference ‘Benedetto Croce, our contemporary’ with Professor Emanuele Cutinelli-Rendina, director of the Italian Studies Department of the University of Strasbourg. The professor of Italian studies in the same University and scholar of political thought, historiography and memoirs of the Renaissance has edited with Denis Fachard the national edition of volumes II, IV, VI of the Legations, Commissioners, Government Writings by Niccolò Machiavelli. Professor Cutinelli-Rendina was also responsible for research on Church and religion in Machiavelli (1998), Introduction to Machiavelli (1999, 2013), and Guicciardini (2009). Finally, he is a member of the Scientific Committee of the National Edition of the Works by Niccoloò Machiavelli. (9Colonne)
