Tel Aviv – Avis Piedmont is in Tel Aviv to sign a partnership agreement with Magen David Adom blood donors (MDA) which is the only Israeli Association active in blood donation. MDA operates not only in Israel but also in the Palestinian Territories. In Jerusalem, Italian Ambassador Francesco Maria Talò and the Patriarch of Jerusalem Fuad Twal assisted at the signing ceremony in the Ephpheta Center of Bethlehem. The signing opens the way for experience exchanges between doctors from Piedmont and Israel in transfusion, while a next forthcoming agreement between the Piedmont Region and Israel will include the provision of bags of blood in situations of emergency, such as war.
