New York – Pianist Marina Pellegrino, from Campania, has won the honorable mention in the American Protégé International Competition of Romantic Music. She will thus perform, as the only award-winning Italian on stage, on March 19 at the Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall. The 25 year-old pianist from Vietri sul Mare (in the province of Salerno) was awarded by the International Jury for her rendition of Debussy’s Suite Bergamasque. (9Colonne)
