Dusseldorf – The Marche Institute for Wine Protection (IMT) goes to Germany, for Düsseldorf’s main industry event: Prowein, scheduled for March 13-15. The IMT is located in pad. 16, stand C77 and D70 with a group of 50 companies. The goal is to promote their unique wines, such as Verdicchio, Bianchello del Metauro, Rosso Conero, Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, Colli Maceratesi, Colli Pesaresi, Lacrima di Morro d’Alba, and even IGT Marche wines. Consolidating the presence of Marche wines in Northern Europe – in Belgium and the Netherlands as well as Germany (which alone accounts for 17% of Verdicchio’s international sales, according to Wine Monitor data by Nomisma) – is one of the principal objectives for the season.
