Houston – Five PhD candidates and two postdocs from the Biomedicine and Neuroscience International Research Doctoral Program of the University of Palermo have taken part in the annual conference organized by the Houston Comites (this year February 26-27). For the 11th edition of the Conference of Italian Researchers in the World, the Sicilian group presented the research carried out in Palermo and at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston. The main branches of science covered by the collaboration agreement between the two institutions are neurodegenerative diseases, neurogenesis, carcinogenesis and metabolic diseases. (9colonne)
