Dusseldorf – A total of 56 wineries from Puglia will participate in the Prowein Fair taking place in Dusseldorf March 13-15. Their attendance has been set up by Unioncamere Puglia in agreement with the Department for Rural Development Policies of the Puglia Region. Now in its 22nd edition, Prowein is the most important German wine fair, and in recent years it attracted a steady increase of both exhibitors and visitors (2015: more than 52,000 visitors and 5,970 exhibitors from 50 countries). “With over 82 million inhabitants, Germany is the second largest market for Italian wines. Puglia’s regional excellences in the wine sector are now projected on the international scene, and for this showcase they have the full support of the Region and Unioncamere Puglia, as well as visibility and targeted promotion initiatives, “ explained President Alessandro Ambrosi.
