(15 March 2016) Until March 18, Cannes is the capital of real estate, hosting Le marché international des professionnels de l’immobilier (MIPIM) and bringing together industry players in the most important global event for the sector. More than 21,000 visitors have already registered for the 2016 edition, and the Italian representation promises to be extensive. The National Association of Homebuilders (ANCE) will have its own special pavilion with featured companies. The delegation, led by the President of the association Claudio De Albertis, will engage in four days of meetings, conferences, debates and one-to-one encounters, discussing big investments and big projects, but giving ample space to the best initiatives carried out by small and medium-sized, yet highly innovative, companies. “MIPIM is an extremely interesting opportunity – commented Gerardo Biancofiore, chairman of ANCE’s Foreign Committee for SMEs and president of ANCE Foggia – MIPIM will give us the opportunity to become aware of what is taking place in the world and at the same time meet with developers, public administrations, architects and investors. We must also take advantage of a major innovation this year: the collaborative environment between real estate financiers and the construction industry. A synergy that finally takes note that it’s no longer the time to think in isolated compartments; working together can improve relationships and initiatives, multiplying resources in favor of the most qualified and well-equipped housing and construction companies”. The Italian Deputy Minister for Economic Development, Ivan Scalfarotto, as well as ITA President Riccardo Monti and the Councillor for Economic Development of the Region of Puglia Loredana Capone will speak during the event that takes place on one of the most beautiful and exclusive locations on the French Riviera.
