Chongqing – 17 students from the University of Palermo arrived a few days ago at SISU Chongqing University (China) to begin a study period there, just as 21 students from the University of Palermo get ready to leave the same Chinese university. This unique exchange of languages, cultures and experiences was made possible thanks to the international mobility agreement negotiated on behalf of the University of Palermo by the director of the Italian Language School for Foreigners Mari D’Agostino. “Since 2011, the year in which the agreement was signed, 150 students from both universities have taken part in the exchange – explains Mari D’Agostino – At the end of their study abroad period at SISU Chongqing University, our students will receive 340 credits, which should be converted into at least 400 University of Palermo CFUs. The data concern only the academic semester, which, along with the results obtained in previous years, make this the first and most important Extra-EU mobility program for number of students and credits achieved.” (9Colonne)
