Tunis – Today comes to an end the Regional mission that brought to Tunis a delegation led by the Sardinia President Francesco Pigliaru, with Friuli Venezia Giulia represented by Franco Codega, also President of the VI Commission of the Regional Council for International Cooperation. The aim was to identify the best ways through which the Italian regional system could support the democratization and economic development processes in Tunisia. With the support of the Italian ambassador in Tunis Raimondo De Cardona, a series of meetings were set up with the highest levels of government, starting with the Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation M. Yassine Brahim. On the same occasion, the second generation of the European Programme IEV CT Med. 2014-2020 was presented and the Tunisian managers assessed the implemented programs under the first-generation CT IEV 2007-2013.
