Montreal – According to tradition, the Italian Week in Montréal will end with the presentation of an opera. This year it’s up “The Barber of Seville” by Gioacchino Rossini. “It is a pleasure to organize an event of this magnitude. The outdoor opera outdoor of the Italian Week gives everyone the chance to attend an event which is often for few”, said artistic director Salvatore Sciascia. “The Barber of Seville” will be staged on August 16 at 9pm at the Loto-Quebec, along the Saint-Laurent boulevard, corner of rue Saint-Zotique.
