Melbourne. A visit to Australia for the delegation from Trentino led by counsellors Lucia Maestri and Claudio Civettini. The delegation met with the Italian Consul General in Melbourne, Marco Maria Cerbo and some of the young people from Trentino who have decided to move to Melbourne. Yesterday, a meeting took place with the president of Melbourne Chamber of Commerce, Tony de Domenico. “We are here for different reasons; to rediscover and maintain the link with our roots and our past and the reality of emigration in order to understand the evolution of our move to Australia. The second reason is to understand how to make the local Trentino community interact with the Australian one. The theme is to find possible connections, new ways to ensure that the excellence of Trentino find their place and opportunities in the Australian market” explains Counsellor Maestri.(9colonne)
