Beirut. “Italy participates in a such a convinced manner and in a decisive role in peacekeeping missions in this area, within the framework of the choices of international organisations to which our country adheres. We do so in the knowledge that every person has dignity to be respected. Human rights are indivisible. We do it for our security and for the collective. “This was stated by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, on the occasion of the visit to the Italian contingent of the UNIFIL mission to Lebanon. “Each of you- says Mattarella contacting the Italian contingent- has the right to feel justifiably proud of the contribution it is offering in the different roles of each to the realisation of such an important plan.
