Shanghai – The ICE-agency for the promotion and internationalization of Italian companies abroad organises the collective participation at Music China 2016 to be held in Shanghai from October 26 to 29 at the SNIEC (Shanghai New International Expo Centre) exhibition center. Music China is the Asian counterpart of one of the most important European trade fairs in the sector, the Musikmesse in Frankfurt. The Chinese market presents great opportunities for manufacturers of Italian musical instruments. In China there are more than 100 symphony orchestras, including 14 in the capital and 25 conservatories, two of which are in Beijing and one in Shanghai. In the ranking of China’s supplier countries of Italy ranks 8th place, with a market share of 1.5%, amounting to $4.4 million. 2015 fair, Italy was the first non-Asian country per number of exhibitors.
