(June 1, 2016) Countdown to the New York of Italian Music Festival – now in its ninth edition – which will be led by Pupo this year. The organisationl machine has already started working. The rendezvous is at the Master Theater (Millennium) in Brooklyn, on September 11. Meanwhile, names of the protagonists have begun: Sirianni Ottavio is, in fact, the first finalist who will be participating in the Festival. Sirianni was selected by the Singing Competition of Light Italian Music from Cosenza performers. The American event, strongly felt by Italians living in New York, has represented a vehicle for Italian culture and for the cultural exchange between the United States and Italy since its origins, through one of the most important and popular forms art in Italy: music. 10 artists from the US and Italy will be on stage competing for singing show. The artists, from Italy will be a total of five and selected from five Italian competitions which will in turn reveal the winner who will have access to the Italian Music Festival of the Big Apple. At the moment, the Italian Song Festival in New York is the most important and prestigious event of Italian origin song outside of Italy. It is constantly growing, both in terms of participation and prestige. The latest editions have been transmitted worldwide by RAI Italy and by Italian radio station live in New York, ICN Radio. It is a success that has been achieved thanks to the work of members of the Cultural Association of Italians in New York.
