Brussels – Twenty-two young people from Abruzzo are in Brussels for a unique training experience thanks to the European project ‘Regions of Brussels for Young People’, promoted by the Abruzzo region, in partnership with the regions of Dubrovnik-Neretva (Croatia), Lubuskie (Poland) and Presov (Slovakia). The initiative was approved by the European Commission within the “Youth in Action” programme. Those who participated in the activities were able to follow closely the new Parliament, the renewal of the European Commission and other European bodies (including the Committee of the Regions), as well as the Italian Semester of EU Presidency and subsequent semesters. In the space of two years, 80 young people, equally divided between men and women, aged between 18 and 30 years have been guests of the Brussels headquarters of the 4 participating regions.
