Tunis. Tunisia has chosen Umbria as a partner to strengthen the support system for SMEs and Tunisian start ups. Umbria as the leader of a public/private group, has created a procedure for a competition in Tunis. The president of the Umbria region, Catiuscia Marini, has expressed great satisfaction underlining how “Tunisia is a priority nation for the Italian Cooperation in light of programmes and efforts underway for the realisation of projects focused on development of the private sector and SMEs aiming for a technical and financial adjustment and the creation of new entrepreneurial subjects”. For Marini, “detailed attention is reserved for improving entrepreneurial conditions for young people and women in priority developing regions and improving conditions for spin-offs and start ups in the most innovative sectors.
