Dhaka. Deputy Foreign Minister Mario Giro posts on Facebook: ‘Today we mourn for all the victims of terrorism of jihadist nature, including our compatriots who died with them during the Dhaka attack. Stories of normal people and lives lost to an unbearable and merciless evil’. Giro is in Dhaka to accompany the nine Italian victims killed in last Friday’s attack back to Italy. The airplane transporting their coffins is already on its way to Rome where it will be welcomed by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella. (9colonne)
