The initiative, promoted by the Italian Nomadic Republic Association, wants to remember, through the countries torn apart by two world wars and conflicts in the former Yugoslavia, the founding values of Europe: dialogue, peace, and diversity. Yesterday, the “Dream of Europe” stopped over in Sarajevo. ‘The Dream of Europe reaches Sarajevo’: a group of trekkers departed from Trieste to bear witness, through the Balkan countries, to how the united Europe values are key in addressing the challenges of the present and to ensure that the continent remains a laboratory of civilisation and a place of rights” said Italian Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina Ruggero Corrias. Corrias during the presentation of the “The Dream of Europe. On the way from Trieste to Sarajevo” held at the Ars-Depot Ars Aevi thanks to the collaboration of the Italian Embassy and the Dante Alighieri Association in Bosnia Erzegovina. After a few days rest in Sarajevo, the trek will resume to reach the annual peace march towards Srebrenica.
