Sarajevo. “‘The Dream of Europe’ reaches Sarajevo today: a group of 30 trekkers departed from Trieste to witness, through the Balkan countries, to how the united Europe values are key in addressing the challenges of the present and to ensure that the continent remains a laboratory of civilisation and a place of rights” said Italian Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Rugggero Corrias. Corrias presented ‘The Dream of Europe. From Trieste to Sarajevo’ held yesterday in Sarajevo in collaboration with the Italian Embassy and the Dante Alighieri Association in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Sarajevo is the finish line for the 30 trekkers who departed from Risiera di San Sabba in Trieste, the site of the only Nazi extermination camp in Italy, across Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina.
