(July 7, 2016) Sardinia and Corsica have increasingly good relations to the extent that, from a business point of view, the association “Sardegna Corsica” is now active. Its two headquarters in Monastir and Ajaccio promote entrepreneurial activities, economic exchange and trading between the two islands. President of the association Modesto Fenu highlights the prospects of this collaboration: “Our ambition for this union is that it increases employment levels. It is something that frees us from internal markets by opening new trade and artisanal prospects. It is a great opportunity for food and artisanal companies. There is an increase in support for this initiative and the association that in addition to strengthening ties with Corsica, is also receiving important benefits on transportation to and from the Island, beyond the Bocche di Bonifacio”.
