Misrata. The Foreign Ministry has communicated the arrival in the port of Misrata, Libya a new shipment of pharmaceutical drugs and health supports destined to the city hospital which will provide basic care to 10,000 people for 3 months and specified treatment for the war wounded. The initiative was organised in collaboration with the United Nations humanitarian base in Brindisi. It was a response to a request for urgent assistance from the authorities of the Libyan Government of National Accord and is part of a broad package of humanitarian aid decided by Italy in support of the most vulnerable categories of the Libyan civilian population, the total value at the beginning of 2016 was more than 2.5 million. This is the third shipment of pharmaceutical drugs made by the Italian Cooperation in the last 3 months.
