(July 21, 2016) The touring exhibition “Brescia. The Renaissance in the North of Italy” will be on display until August 28 at Warsaw National Museum. The exhibition was realised in collaboration with Brescia Museums Foundation and Start. It includes works by Moretto, Savoldo, Moroni, Raffaello, Tiziano and Lotto. The 40 works on tour will be in Helsinki from September 22 until January 15 2017 followed by the Rijksmuseum in the Netherlands from February 22 until June 18 2017. The star object of the exhibition is the “Christ Blessing”, an oil on wood painting by Raphael Sanzio dating to 1506. The painting is part of the collection of the Pinacoteca Tosio Martinengo of Brescia. (Red)
