(10 August 2016) Seven photo labs in Egypt at the turn of the century, 49 vintage photographs of Italians working in the North African country in archaeology, exoticism and curiosity. These will be available at the Centre of Creativity of Alexandria, from Thursday August 25 to Sunday September 4th. The project is promoted by the Italian Institute of Culture in Cairo. The Institute coordinates the Italian Cultural Institutes in the Middle East, and sub-Saharan Africa: Damascus, Beirut, Tripoli, Tunis, Algiers, Rabat, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Addis Ababa, Nairobi, Pretoria, through the exchange of projects and the organisation of cultural events.
