Le Pontet. As part of the events dedicated to Italy, from September 12 to November 10 at the Château de Fargues, the City of Le Pontet presents, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Marseilles and the Italian Cultural Institute, three exhibitions: “Pompeii and Europe: the imagination born of the House of the Vettii”, “Italianity” and “Historic rural landscapes.” The first exhibition presents five extraordinary frescoes from the House of the Vettii in Pompeii presented by the Museum of Naples. (The inauguration was in the presence of the curator Laura Del Verme). The second exhibition is organized by Corraini Publishing house for the occasion of the publication of the book “Italianità” (Italianity) by the designer Giulio Iacchetti, with illustrations by Ale + Ale. Finally, “Historic rural landscapes”, presents the partial results of a research project funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Policies that involved 80 researchers, 14 universities and international institutions, with the patronage of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, UNESCO and the Council of Europe.
