Oslo. Valerio Tosi told his story of a partisan in the book “Under the shade of a beautiful flower – comparing Italian and Norwegian Resistance” (Ibiskos Publishing Risolo). The book will be the focus of a conference held in Italian on September 1 at 18:00 at the Italian Cultural Institute in Oslo. Tosi discretely and modestly tells his story, aware that the Resistance in Italy was a complex and varied mosaic and that it consists of many and sometimes very small tiles. The author also outlines the cross-section of the Norwegian Resistance, geographically and substantially so far from ours: a country that did not experience civil war, in which the German occupiers had a very different and possibly better relationship with the population.
