(September 9, 2016) Fabrizio Bosso is a name that stands for music, creativity, talent. Above all, it stands for Italian excellence in the world. And tomorrow, at the Teatro Municipal of the city of Cali, kicks off the Colombian tour of the jazz musician. With him the Spiritual trio of Alberto Marsico (hammond) and Alessandro Minetto (drums). After this first date, where he is also scheduled to meet with the press and students of the conservatory, Bosso tour continues on September 11 at the Jazz festival at Parque Bogota, September 14 at Javeriano theater in Pasto, September 15 at Plazoleta Gardel in Medellin, to end the day after at Salon Jumbo in Barranquilla. Instead it will be the quartet composed by Julian Oliver Mazzariello on piano, Nicola Angelucci on drums and James Ferrazza on bass (the latter replacing Luca Alemanno, departing now for two years, after obtaining admission to the Thelonius Monk Institute in Los Angeles) to accompany Bosso in two consecutive dates, on October 18 and 19, at the Blue Note in Tokyo, Japan: a second homeland for the trumpeter of Piedmont origin. In the middle, between these two tours, there is always Italy with many other live commitments. First of all, the double event scheduled for September 30 and October 1 at the Teatro Lyrick in Assisi, promoted by Umbria Jazz, Umbria Region and the City of Assisi, scheduled for October 1, in favor of the earthquake victims, which on October 1 will see protagonists in addition to Bosso, Renzo Arbore, Gino Paoli, Stefano Bollani, Enrico Rava, Paolo Fresu, Stefano Di Battista, Funk Off and Rita Marcotulli.
