Berlin. After May and June’s positive results, the export of agricultural food products registers a sudden halt with a loss of 2.8 points compared to 2015 (price). The decrease was most evident in the exportation of agricultural products (-5.5%) whereas the trend decrease in the food industry was smaller (-2.4%), nevertheless the most significant in the last two years. However, July’s setback does not invalidate the overall data of the first seven months of the year: agricultural food export nevertheless records a 2% growth compared to the first seven months of 2015, especially thanks to a steady progress in the sale of food industry products that have increased further than the sale of agricultural products (+2.35% and +0.8% respectively).
