The University of Trieste’s Machine Learning Lab research team’s article “Your Paper has been Accepted, Rejected or Whatever: Automatic Generation of Scientific Paper Reviews”, published in Lecture Notes in Computer Science, Vol. 9817, 2016; has sparked the interest of Times Higher Education. The Times has also published an interview with Professor Eric Medvet, member of the research group and one of the authors of the paper. Other periodicals have also covered the instrument capable of generating automatic false reviews for a given scientific paper, such as Retraction Watch, Powerline and Inside Higher Ed. Alberto Bartoli is the head of the Machine Learning Lab which is part of DIA (Department of Engineering and Architecture). (9colonne)
