Guatemala City. The Guatemala Investment Summit 2016 will be held in Guatemala City on November 9 and 10. It was organised by the Chamber of Industry in Guatemala and the Ministry of Economy. The event is among one of the most prominent international events on attracting investments. It began with the objective to promote integration and competitiveness of the region through the participation of more than 250 investors and businessmen from various parts of the world. The Italian-Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Guatemalan Embassy in Rome will assist the delegation of Italian companies and the organization of business to business encounters. Companies from Emilia Romagna from the construction, renewable energy and coffee sectors will be involved in encounters with local partners, in particular, to measure the possible opening of an Italian coffee roasting business.
