Lugano. The Swiss-Italian entrepreneur Carlo De Benedetti’s life between Switzerland and Italy was recounted at the University of Italian Switzerland in Lugano, in conversation with Ferruccio De Bortoli, former editor of Corriere della Sera and president of the Memorial Foundation for Milan’s Holocaust. And, from the rich experience gained in nearly three quarters of a century, the pessimistic forecast about Italy’s future and the European Union.
