Chicago – “The promotional mission of the Istituto Grandi Marchi in North America in recent days has highlighted the great attention of this market for Italian wine quality. In the course of our events in Chicago and Toronto we have also recorded the request of the operators, in the first case, and the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) in the second, a more constant presence of the Istituto in these markets. In particular there has been a strong demand for ‘education’ activities on the variety and the territoriality of our quality products.” So said Piero Mastroberardino, president of the Istituto del vino Grandi Marchi, at the end of the two overseas stops, which led the 19 associated wineries to meet over 500 operators in Chicago and Toronto, two of the most strategic markets for Italian wine.
