(November 1, 2016) The Italian Institute of Culture in Tirana announces the Italian participation in the 14th edition of the Tirana International Film Festival (TIFF), from November 3 to 11. Tiff is a leading international film showcase in the Balkan region and hosts every year international premieres, authors of great attraction and a dense selection of international short films. In this edition it will screen 200 films including features, shorts, Albanian films, films made by students and video art. A special selection will be dedicated to the great master of Italian cinema Ettore Scola, who died this year. For the first time in Tirana it will be organized the TIFForum in collaboration with the Torino Film Lab and the Balkan Cinema City, a regional project to promote film production in Albania and co-productions in the region. The jury will include Italians Steve Piccolo, Bruno Muzzolini, Simona Nobile, Paolo Spines. (Red)
