Tbilisi – Italy supports the “sovereignty and territorial integrity” of Georgia, its movement towards the EU and NATO, in the wake of a “sound friendship” between our two Countries.
So said Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni, during the first stage of his mission in the southern Caucasus, in Tbilisi after a meeting with Georgian counterpart Mikheil Janelizde. On this basis, said Gentiloni, we need to strengthen the economic relationships that can already count on a “significant” exchange that makes Italy Georgia’s third-largest EU partner. (9Colonne)
