Jerusalem. The level of criticality determined by extensive forest fires affecting some Israeli areas, upon the Israeli government’s request, Italy, through the Civil Protection System sent two Canadair CL 415 aircrafts that will fight fires off that are affecting some areas south of Jerusalem and Upper Galilee. The two Italian aircrafts, according to local authorities, will be deployed from Hatzor Air Force Base, 40 kilometers south of Tel Aviv. The Italian intervention is part of the collaboration with that for years has allowed the two countries to render assistance to each other in critical situations. (9Colonne)
